Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records, adhering to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Uphold company standards for professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks, such as refueling and tire checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on vehicle type).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for toll and fuel calculations.
