Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, tractor-trailers) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report issues
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- 1+ year commercial driving preferred (training available)
