Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local deliveries within the Chicago metro area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using proper equipment
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch team
- Adapt to dynamic routes and time-sensitive delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Chicago traffic patterns and local geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Must be available for flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
