Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on designated routes, specifically focusing on night delivery schedules.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours and weekends as required.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
