Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Inspect and maintain trucks per DOT regulations and company standards
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to schedules
- Complete accurate documentation including logs, manifests, and delivery reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metro area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification current and valid
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
