Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (CDL Class A/B) to deliver time-sensitive shipments
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation systems for on-time deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques (strapping, bracing)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) in good standing
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
