Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries in high-volume corridors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of Jacksonville metro routes and Florida highways
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for variable schedules including weekends
