Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations during night shift hours
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely and cost-effective service
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and special instructions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and route adjustments
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills in independent work environments
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation and communication
