Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles across Houston metropolitan area during overnight hours
- Execute efficient route planning using GPS technology to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Handle package loading/unloading with precision and care to maintain product integrity
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Provide exceptional customer service during high-priority nighttime deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Experience with commercial vehicles or large package delivery preferred
- Strong knowledge of Houston geography and major highway systems
- Availability to work flexible overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication standards
