Job Summary
As a Night Shift Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently across the Charlotte, NC to Virginia corridor. You will ensure timely delivery, maintain accurate logs, and represent our brand with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently during night shifts.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the truck clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience (preferred for night shift).
- Clean driving record (MVR check).
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and log compliance.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and handle basic maintenance tasks.
