Responsibilities
- Collect and transport medical specimens, lab samples, and documents to various medical facilities and laboratories in the Jersey City area.
- Adhere to strict chain-of-custody protocols to ensure specimen integrity and patient privacy.
- Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries using handheld GPS and delivery management software.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Handle delicate items with care, following all safety and handling regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must have a personal vehicle with valid insurance and registration.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone apps.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
