Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition and all cargo is secure.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic laws.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
