Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Handle secure loading/unloading of diverse freight types
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat placarding (HME endorsement preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and climb equipment safely
