Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Florida highway systems
