Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations throughout New York City.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of packages while adhering to traffic laws and company protocols.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling deliveries with care and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of GPS and navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for commuting (if required by specific shift).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
