Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods to designated locations across NYC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and NYC traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
