Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens destinations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional delivery driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
