Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Plan efficient routes to optimize fuel consumption and on-time delivery
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Document all delivery details and handle paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and traffic regulations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
