Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) and log accurate mileage.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Experience with Hazmat or Tanker endorsements is a plus.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle cargo manually.
