Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts while maintaining proper documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status and issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Southern California geography and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
