Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently on designated routes
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Perform daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build relationships with clients for repeat business opportunities
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft or larger) in good condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Self-motivated with time management abilities
