Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers within designated NYC routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using Amazon's proprietary technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to Amazon's safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at fulfillment centers
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
