Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient material loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs
- Operate in various weather conditions and tight urban spaces
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Strong spatial awareness for maneuvering in confined areas
- Physical ability to climb in/out of cab and handle materials
- Knowledge of NJ roadways and construction zones
