Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck on assigned routes within the St. Petersburg metro area
- Coordinate daily pickups/delivers via our remote dispatch portal with flexible scheduling options
- Complete electronic paperwork, delivery confirmations, and incident reports through our mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure FMCSA compliance for all operations
- Optimize routes using our GPS tracking system to maximize delivery efficiency
- Build client relationships through professional on-time delivery and communication
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate with our network of certified mechanics
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience in commercial freight
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26ft) with DOT inspection certification
- Proficiency in using smartphones/tablets for digital documentation
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining compliance protocols
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge for on-road issues
