Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight (medical equipment, electronics, high-value goods) within Pittsburgh metro and regional routes
- Maintain DOT compliance and meticulous vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route updates
- Build client relationships through exceptional service reliability
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with box trucks (26ft+)
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- DOT medical certification and physical ability to handle freight
- Proficient in GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs consistently
- Pittsburgh metro area residency required
