Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate shipment documentation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize delivery routes and minimize delays
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all DOT regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of professional freight driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Southern California road networks preferred
