Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A CDL) on various road conditions.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo protection during transit.
- Verify and document cargo condition upon pickup and delivery.
- Complete all necessary shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and on time.
- Perform mandatory daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate commerce.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules as required by operational needs.
