Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with forklift operation when required
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Ensure cargo security and proper documentation for all shipments
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate forklifts
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service rules
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for regional routes and occasional overnight trips
