Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently for local/regional deliveries
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations at client sites
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and mileage logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck or similar commercial vehicle experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good mechanical condition
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Pass background/drug screening
