Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional freight transport
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (eIFR, bills of lading)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Hazmat/Tank endorsements preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
