Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Fresno County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload packages with care to prevent damage (up to 50 lbs)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving license (CDL) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or professional driving experience
- Ability to operate GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent customer service demeanor and effective communication abilities
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift packages for extended periods
- Knowledge of Fresno area streets and neighborhoods is highly advantageous
