Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and ensure proper maintenance
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Load and unload cargo as necessary
- Communicate with dispatch and clients to provide updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Knowledge of Boston area and surrounding regions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
