Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and legally compliant manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum 1-year of driving experience (preferred) or a strong desire to start a new career.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and passing a DOT physical exam.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
