Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to designated locations in Baltimore and surrounding areas in a timely and safe manner.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are delivered with care and accuracy.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Package Handling: Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and complete delivery receipts as required.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and mapping tools to follow optimal delivery routes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid License: A valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) is required.
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, with immediate start availability.
- Remote/Online: Basic computer literacy for digital logging and dispatch communication is preferred.
