Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using basic equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (Entry-level applicants with strong character are also considered).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Basic English reading and writing skills.
