Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to designated job sites
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, pre-trip checks, and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and local traffic laws
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for billing and compliance
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure smooth loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and random drug screenings
- Familiarity with Las Vegas metropolitan area routes and construction zones
- Strong attention to safety and commitment to accident-free driving
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Physical capability to climb equipment and perform manual tasks
