Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Manage route planning to meet tight deadlines
- Operate specialized equipment (e.g., end-dump, belly-dump)
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- DOT medical certification and physical ability to operate heavy equipment
- Familiarity with Kansas City metro routes and construction sites
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
