Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Portland and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our digital tracking system and mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company delivery procedures
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/uneven terrain
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery tracking
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
