Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are handled with care and placed securely.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain the vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for local routes.
- A clean driving record with no recent DUI or serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
