Responsibilities
- Transport goods and packages to designated addresses or drop-off locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload vehicles using dollies, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Obey traffic laws and practice defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures for deliveries when required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Interact professionally with customers, including answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Reliable access to a personal smartphone for app-based job management.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
