Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the New Orleans area.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Collect payments or obtain digital signatures as required for COD deliveries.
- Update the delivery status in the tracking system in real-time.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or recent major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging deliveries.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle suitable for delivery work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
