Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in New York City.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle payments, and resolve delivery issues with a smile.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery records using company handheld devices.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling of packages to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or appropriate non-CDL chauffeur license.
- Current, valid DOT medical card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
