Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across New York City
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize fuel efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate delivery status updates through our mobile tracking system
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely in urban environments
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of NYC boroughs and navigation
