Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times to ensure the safety of the driver, team members, and the public.
- Interact professionally and positively with customers, including handling questions and providing updates.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, adhering to safety protocols for lifting and carrying items.
- Update digital logs and maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) is required.
- A clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology for navigation and logging.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
