Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated customer locations.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules strictly to ensure on-time performance.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT physical) and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging hours and routes.
