Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and delivery records in compliance with DOT standards.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues that may arise.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways in California.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
