Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Transport: Deliver products to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload goods using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary equipment efficiently.
- Order Accuracy: Verify that the correct items are being delivered and ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients and resolve any delivery issues professionally on-site.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean driving record and follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Possess a valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Navigation Skills: Strong ability to navigate routes using GPS technology and local knowledge.
- Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse daily.
- Tech Savvy: Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and communicating via apps.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
