Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated delivery locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is clean and mechanically sound.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and proper safety protocols are followed.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driver's license.
- A clean driving record with no serious infractions or DUIs within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50-75 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills and the ability to read maps and GPS devices effectively.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
