Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner according to all DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in top operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight restrictions and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required paperwork, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
