Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, and cargo security.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and arrive in perfect condition.
- Accurately log delivery information into the handheld device or computer system.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class B or C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for map reading and log entries.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored CDL or delivery training if necessary.
